The American Turkish Society’s policy programs offer members invaluable insight into the political issues and discussions of current importance to Turkey and the United States. In addition, Turkey’s foreign affairs and relations with other countries and regions of the world are discussed in the context of their impact on the Turkish economy and society as well as relations with the United States.

The American Turkish Society hosts top government officials, including Prime Ministers and Ministers of State, and offers a Meet the Ambassadors series. Recent speakers have included Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs Minister Abdullah Gul, Treasury Minister Ali Babacan, UNDP Administrator Dr. Kemal Dervis, and Ambassadors Mort Abramowitz, Marc Grossman, O. Faruk Logoglu, Mark Parris, W. Robert Pearson, and Ross Wilson.

The American Turkish Society often collaborates with other top foreign policy organizations in Turkey and the United States to share insights about Turkey and to further the discussion of U.S. –Turkish relations with broader audiences, hosting scholars and political analysts from such organizations.
